Who is Bikes and Biscuits?

A writer and an editor with a shared love of all things Southern, good food and good wine, and the open road. Mollie Chen is an editor at Conde Nast Traveler. Recently she invested in a super-light Lemond Buenos Aires and some hot pink cycling shoes, and rode her first century (100 miles)–complete with a farm stop for donuts and peaches. Geraldine Campbell is freelance writer based in Shreveport, LA. Her primary focus is on the South and Las Vegas—two places she has grown to love. (It took some time, but eventually she was won over by shrimp and grits, Southern hospitality, video poker, and super-sized spas).

Please stop by the farm, play some tennis on the grass courts, or croquet, will feed you some great Virginia products, wine from the GREYHAVEN winery next door and kick-in $100 towards the cause…safe travels….Tommy

See that you’ll be in my town of Frederick, MD. Hope you enjoy your dinner at Volt. If you’re looking for a good place to hang out afterward head down the block to Brewer’s Alley. We love riding bikes and drinking good beer. Shoot me an e-mail if you want to hang out with some local bike riders. Glad to have found your blog. Have a great adventure!
Cheers!
Julie
